Just a quick note on what I am most thankful for this year before I sign off for the last time in 2021.

First off, I am so happy to have found and stuck with meditation. It’s something that I didn’t think would be so impactful in my life, but I now know I can’t go without. Getting into the habit of meditating everyday has changed my relationship with my mind, and I’m now a stronger, more resilient person.

Second, getting into the UX realm has been a major turning point for me. Working on UX problems and designing has brought me so much joy. I know that I have much more to learn and improve on, but this is only the beginning of a wonderful journey.

Next, I am grateful for recommitting to fitness this year. Digging myself out of the lockdown slump was challenging, but every bit worth it. Staying consistent with going to yoga and hitting the gym has not only improved my physical conditioning, but has been an excellent outlet for stress and has helped keep me sane.

Last, but most certainly not least, I am so thankful to the people in my life who are here to love and support me through the thick and the thin. My loved ones inspire me to be the best version of myself. Without them, I wouldn’t be who I am and where I am today.

What a crazy, up, down, sideways, eventful, strange, time-warped, blah, aha year it has been! Let’s end it on a high note. Wishing everyone a safe and Happy New Year!

Until 2022,

XX Kaly
